Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Face Shield Matte SPF 50 is a lightweight lotion texture designed primarily to provide comprehensive environmental protection from UVA/UVB pollution, blue light and IR. It is a non-comedogenic, 40minute water resistant primer designed with salicylic acid to control shine and blur imperfection of oily or blemish-prone skin. It's SPF 20 defense is meant to provide one layer of UV defense in one's makeup routine where additional products and SPF are applied.

Mattifying Primer SPF 20 was designed to prep and prime oily skin for application of makeup and extend makeup wear. Is Total Protection™ Face Shield SPF 50 water-or-sweat resistant? This timeframe is a recommended guideline for using the product at its peak efficacy. On most products, you will find the PAO is 12 months. You can always find the PAO information by looking at the open jar icon that can be found on your product.
We recommend using the product within the indicated PAO (period-after-opening) timeframe once the product is opened and activated. This product has completed the 3-year FDA stability testing and is no longer required to have an expiration date as the product is found to be extremely stable.
Once a product passes the testing after the 3-year period, an expiration date is no longer printed on subsequent production of this product. After the product passes 3-year real time stability testing, an expiry date is no longer required, as the testing supports stability for at least 3 years. All products with less than 3 years real time stability testing must include an expiry date on their packaging per federal regulations. This is because the FDA has established requirements for all over-the-counter drug products (sunscreens) to go through stability testing to assure products are stable and have appropriate expiry dating. No, Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Face Shield Matte SPF 50 does not list an expiration date.
